Working as a team we started by each conducting our own heuristic markups of the 3 respective pages we were asked to redesign, each providing our own insights and opinions.
The team and I then underwent the same process but with mobile, again pointing out key areas for design, hierarchy and copy we believed could be improved on
Next the team tackled the competitor analysis, picking apart similar companies as well as other websites we thought to have a strong company story, enticing events and clean checkout pages.
A brief research overview of how we approached our Re-Design.

The homepage is a seamless integration of events, as the user scrolls through they get a story of what Drive europe is really about, what they can offer and their status. your greated with images of high end classic cars and descriptions of events and activities completely custom and at your disposal, as well as previous reviews and an abundance of awards.
The experience page gives a high detail to customers on the specific page they decide to book, detailing to them eveything they many need toknow, including the best highlights, the important itinerary, the beautiful fleet they could be driving, a gallery that details past experiences and Pricing for those outside the UK. All layed out in an informative and clean design that matches the aesthetic of the brand.
These detail other pages of the site users may wish to navigate to such as the FAQ's, Fleet page that details all the cars available to customers and the contact page. As well as a look at how each page of the fleet looks for each specific car.
the project tasked us with using industry-standard methods to generate a body of UX research about a problem space related to sustainability which we would then use as the starting point for our further Design for Good project.
Identifying a specific problem space within the broader theme of sustainability that i aim to investigate further through generative research methodologies. Write a problem statement of around 50 words helped me to frame the problem and define the scope of the research i will research further.
Referring to a range of research sources, I identified and compiled at least 5 elements of statistical research relating to my proposed problem statement. Explain what they show and why they are relevant.
I then produced a structured competitor review of 5 apps as well as a website that i believe provided a useful reference when considering digital design strategies relating to my identified problem space.
Drawing from my research results, i create 3 different distinct personas that would represent users that my desired final product and identify their user roles.
Finally, i completed a value proposition canvas (an industry-standard tool), based on my primary user persona.
moving forward this project tasked us with producing a service which would be tailored to a smartphone app which addresses the problem space I had identified and researched in the brief given to us in “Design for Good Part 1 – Generative Research”.
Designing a series of App Store images gave me the ability to have a strong brand identity for my app.
one that I could then portray in the App Store and product detail page that then gives it the visualisation of something real.
Moving forward with this gave my App the strong media presents it needed to simulate itself in my presentation to a potential investor audience
I believe that cooking is an experience, and it should all be enjoyed from one home to the next, i wanted to create an app that provided that.
From "what's in your fridge" to the tailored recipes I wanted to make the process as seamless as possible, and hopefully, make an enjoyable experience each customer looks forward to every time they open the app.
Providing a genuinely enjoyable experience of cooking, one would hope that would then transition into their attitude towards food waste. Making it an effortless and natural part of their day.
In turn, slowly making the world a clearer place, one household at a time.

A brief overview of my insights into diegetic UI and how i turned it into an immersive and historical website.
A quick look at the games i decided to explore and expand on during my research into Diegetic UI. I believed these games gave the best examples and had the most industry impact when research the field.
I thought it would be a good idea to add the defenitions and add some visual in game examples for those users who are less aware of the diegetic types like i was to begin with to experience if they wish to know more about type and how it can be used without them knowing.
A insight into the research i conducted to develop a better understanding of what Diegetic UI is, how i could use it in my own work and how it has effected the industry and games throughout the years.
I started my development process in 2024 with java, evidently not a very smart choice on my part in retrospect, however it definitely paved the way for my game today and gave me alot of experience and invaluable skills such as determination and the drive to solve and overcome problems as well as learn new softwares and skills

Naturally after developing the game for a while and eventually trying to host it online, as well as submit it for university, i realise Java was not the correct coding platform for small game development.
Initially i stepped back for a while but soon returned with a new found determination to try again and this time make it better, i dove into javascript head on. plowing through every tutorial i could find to build my knowledge and understand a whole new software, a gruelling but rewarding process in the end.

Besides the obvious of switching from java to Javascript, Transitions, animations, cutscenes and a tremendous amount of player UI. i learnt many more softwares such as Piskel, an online piskel art platform that let me create all of the tiles, characters and sprite sheets for my game.
As well as Tiled, A software that instead of having to asign each tile a number and write them out in strings, allows you to upload your tile sets and create detailed maps with complete creative freedom.
this whole process has taught me tremendous resilience and determination as well as life long skills i can take with me into this ever growing industry.

transitioning from Java to Javascript was a challenging change, as anything is learning a whole new software but it taught me determination, resilience problem solving, and many other skills i will carry with me through into the industry
